Applications

MG’s DPC membranes make it possible to prevent rising damp in brickwork or penetrating damp around open parts of buildings. The mesh structure on the surface of the membrane helps to improve bonding with the surface or mortar. DPC membranes are commonly used to ensure moisture run-off in air cavities or effective connections around window frames, and to prevent rising damp between the foundations and the buildings themselves. MG’s DPC membranes offer limited UV resistance, which means they are not ideal if permanently exposed to sunlight.
