Applications
By using edge strips together with, for example, Miofoam® V25-5, Miofol® AVS 4 or Miofol® VS 2, it is possible to separate floor finishes from wall structures. Miofoam® edge strips are used to separate the edges of concrete floor finishes from walls and columns. This makes it possible to deal with movement in the floor and greatly reduces noise transfer. A minimum of 8 mm is recommended for underfloor heating.
Processing
To reduce contact noise and noise transfer to adjacent areas, S or FK edge strips are placed against walls and around floor openings in combination with acoustic floor separation. Make sure that connections between the floor and wall are level. Any excess material can be easily cut away once the floor has hardened.
