Miofol® AVS 4 is a 5-layer laminated membrane with overlap and integrated adhesive strip. Miofol® AVS 4 includes a 4 mm PE foam and pure aluminium membrane. The aluminium is protected by a coating. Thanks to the good thermal conductivity of aluminium, when combined with underfloor heating, living comfort is significantly improved. The heating time of the floor is reduced by about 25% and the surface temperature is increased.

Miofol® AVS 4 is used as a vapour barrier separating layer under a cement screed. Miofol® AVS 4 is specially developed for use under screeds incorporating underfloor heating. The coated aluminium top layer provides optimal heat conduction, allowing the screed to heat up quickly and evenly. This provides high comfort and a lower thermostat setting. Vapour barrier applications on the inside of construction and insulation such as climate class 4 are also among suitable applications.
Roll out Miofol® AVS 4 lengthwise on a flat and clean swept floor and set it up against the walls. The aluminium side should be processed facing upward. Using the integrated adhesive strip and overlap, join the sheets together to form a closed moisture barrier. After one hour, cut off the excess at the walls and place Miofoam® Edge insulation strips against the walls.
