Miofol® VS 2 is a 3-layer floor membrane, including 3 mm PE foam and a blue HDPE top layer. Miofol® VS 2 features a overflap and an integrated adhesive strip. This extremely vapour barrier floor membrane also has a leveling and sound-reducing function.

Miofol® VS 2 is specially developed for floating laid laminate and parquet floors. It levels minor unevenness in the substrate and reduces impact sound. Due to the overlap with integrated adhesive strip as well as the HDPE top layer, the Miofol® VS 2 has an extreme vapour barrier capability. It is often applied double as an anti-friction layer (sliding membrane) under seamless concrete screeds for ice rinks, as for example in the Thialf and Sochi.
Roll out Miofol® VS 2 on a flat and clean swept floor and set it up against the walls. Using the integrated adhesive strip and overlap, join the sheets together to form a closed moisture barrier and cut off the excess at the walls after one hour. When used as an anti-friction layer, Miofol® VS 2 is used double, with the blue HDPE top layers processed against each other.
