Breathable membranes
Breathable membranes are able to allow moisture infiltration (in the form of damp) while repelling water. If insulation has not been properly protected against moisture on the inner side (or during the construction phase), breathable membranes can help to discharge moisture while preventing the construction from becoming wet. Breathable membranes are used under facade cladding or roof cladding, on the cold side of the facade or roof.
