Miofol® 125S is a reinforced and moisture-inhibiting technical construction membrane. The composite membrane has an extremely long lifespan because it features virgin PE. Miofol® 125S prevents moisture in the concerned area from infiltrating into the construction or insulation.


Miofol® 125S is used as a vapour control membrane on the warm side of wall and roof constructions. Thanks to its constant moisture-inhibiting properties, Miofol® 125S is suitable in constructions in climate class 2 and 3, such as homes, offices, schools, etc. Miofol® 125S has been strengthened using mesh reinforcement, which means it is able to resist high mechanical loads, also when prefabricated elements are being transported. Miofol® 125S protects constructions against moisture and ensures an optimised and airtight insulation.


Miofol® 125S should be applied to the warm side of roof and wall constructions. Use staples to attach the membrane to the underlying construction. It must be possible to read the logo from the inside. Keep an extra 100 mm at all horizontal and vertical overlaps. To ensure effective moisture inhibition, we recommend using VAST-R® Membrane tape basic to tape over staples, joints and overlaps. Use VAST-R® Butyl tape or Tyvek® FlexWrap tape to make openings and joints wind- and watertight.
