Description

Miofol® 150A is a reflective aluminium vapour barrier membrane that has been reinforced using polypropylene webbing. The aluminium surface reflects heat radiation, which helps to ensure higher heat resistance.

Applications

Miofol® 150A is used as vapour barrier membrane in facade and roof constructions. The reflective aluminium membrane is used on the warm side (often the inner side) of constructions in combination with an air cavity of 20 mm. The membrane increases heat resistance by reflecting radiation heat. Miofol® 150A has been strengthened using polypropylene webbing, which means it is able to resist high mechanical loads, also when prefabricated elements are being transported.

Processing

Miofol® 150A should be applied on the warm side (often the inner side) of roof and facade constructions. The reflective side of the membrane must be placed so it faces the air cavity. Use staples to attach the membrane to the underlying construction. Keep an extra 100 mm at all horizontal and vertical overlaps. To ensure a completely vapour-proof construction, we recommend using our VAST-R® range to make attachments, overlaps, joints and openings vapour-proof.
