TAFTEX® IN-100 is a moisture-repellent, watertight membrane, which consists of two layers of polypropylene. TAFTEX® IN-100 is used to prevent moist indoor air infiltrating into insulation layers in wall and roof constructions. This helps to avoid condensation, and eventually mould, within the insulation material.

Applications
TAFTEX® IN-100 is used as a vapour control membrane on the warm side of wall and roof constructions. Thanks to its constant moisture-inhibiting properties, TAFTEX® IN-100 is suitable in buildings in climate class 2 and 3, such as homes, offices, schools, etc. TAFTEX® IN-100 protects constructions against moisture and ensures an optimised and airtight insulation.
Processing
TAFTEX® IN-100 should be applied to the warm side of the roof and wall construction. Use staples to attach the membrane to the underlying construction. It must be possible to read the logo from the inside. Keep an extra 100 mm at all horizontal and vertical overlaps. To ensure effective moisture inhibition, we recommend using TAFTEX® Membrane tape to tape over staples, joints and overlaps. Use VAST-R® Butyl tape or Tyvek® FlexWrap tape to make openings and joints wind- and watertight.
