Tyvek® FlexWrap tape is a flexible tape for air and watertight sealing of penetrations at roofs, ceilings and wall. Tyvek® FlexWrap provides an airtight seal and is extremely stretchy compared to standard tape. The unique stretch makes Tyvek® FlexWrap tape easy to fold along deviating penetrations, making it an alternative to standard cuffs. Tyvek® FlexWrap tape is approximately 50% faster to install than standard tape or seals.

Tyvek® FlexWrap tape should be applied to seal penetrations and connections of building membranes air and watertight. Tyvek® FlexWrap tape allows structural movement due to its extreme stretch and permanently elastic adhesive layer.
Carefully place Tyvek® FlexWrap tape around the surface to be sealed. The substrate must be free of dirt, moisture, ice, grease and other material that will cause inferior adhesive performance. Tyvek® FlexWrap tape should be placed in dry conditions and at a temperature above 0°C. A primer is recommended for use at tempratures below 0°C and on surfaces that are not ideal. Avoid creases and bubbles by smoothing the surface. Press by hand over the entire surface for proper adhesion to the substrate (after applying pressure, it is difficult to reposition the tape).
