Tyvek® tape is a one-sided HDPE tape coated with a thick layer of water-based modified acrylic adhesive and a siliconized paper release liner. Excellent resistance to time, water, moisture, the weather elements and chemicals. Tyvek® tape can be used for sealing membranes and is particularly suitable for repairing damage to Tyvek® Roofliner and Tyvek® Firecurb™ Housewrap.

Tyvek® tape should be applied for wind and watertight sealing of Tyvek® membranes in facade or roof structures. Both the durable repair of damage, wind and watertight sealing of overlap seams or staples, and the connection of Tyvek® membranes to structures should be processed with Tyvek® tape. Tyvek® tape can be adhered directly to wooden or steel substrates.
Tyvek® tape must be applied to a dust and grease-free, dry surface to ensure proper adhesion. Before applying Tyvek® tape, remove the release liner and apply the tape to the center of the seam / overlap. Press and rub the tape well to eliminate air bubbles and provide optimum permanent adhesion.
