VAST-R Total tape
VAST-R® Total tape is a one-sided adhesive tape, which offers a universal solution for membranes and helps to give the building shell an airtight finish. The tape comes in black or white and features a VAST-R® high performance adhesive layer. The top layer of the tape offers UV-resistance for two years, which means the tape can be used both indoors and outdoors.

Applications
VAST-R® Total tape can be used as a universal sealing tape to create airtight building shell. This is because VAST-R® Total tape bonds to most surfaces. Constructions can be given an airtight finish by, for example, taping overlaps in membranes (non-woven or PE), repairing tears and taping sheet materials and insulation material. VAST-R® Total tape offers a universal solution for all our Alkreflex®, Miofol®, Polytex®, Miotex® and TAFTEX® membranes.
Processing
VAST-R® Total tape must be applied on a dust-free, grease-free and dry surface in order to ensure effective bonding. To apply VAST-R® Total tape, remove the release layer and place the tape across the centre of the joint and overlap. Rub and apply firm pressure to the tape so air bubbles are avoided and effective bonding is realised. To ensure effective bonding, a primer must be used if the surface is highly absorbent.
