VASTR® Double-sided tape is an extremely adhesive two-sided tape for the airtight application of membranes and the air- and windproof sealing of overlap seams. The acrylic tape has a reinforcement mesh that makes it very strong, as well as easy to tear off.

VASTR® Double-sided tape can be used for bonding overlaps in technical building membranes. Also, the tape can be used to adhere membranes to a substrate so that the membrane is not perforated by staples when applied. The application of vapour control membranes or dampproofing on a metal stud frame is especially easy thanks to its high adhesive strength.
VASTR® double-sided tape must be applied to a dust and grease-free, dry surface to ensure good adhesion. Apply VASTR® Double-sided tape and press firmly. Remove the release paper and press the membrane firmly into the tape. Rub down so that air bubbles disappear and an optimum durable bond is created.
