Gefo® is used as a vapour control membrane in facade and roof structures. Gefo® is applied to the warm side (usually the inside) of the structure. Due to its constant vapour barrier property, Gefo® is suitable in constructions of buildings belonging to climate class 2 and 3, such as offices, homes, schools, etc. In addition, Gefo® is excellent for use as temporary glazing.
Apply Gefo® to the warm side (usually the inside) of the roof and wall construction. Attach Gefo® using stainless steel staples to the structure behind. In location of horizontal and vertical overlaps maintain 100mm. For optimal vapour control, we recommend that fastenings, overlaps, joints and recesses be finished airtight using our VASTR® range.
