VASTR® Total tape is a single-sided adhesive tape and is universally applicable for membranes and air sealing of the building envelope. The tape in black or white versions features a VASTR® high performance adhesive layer. The top layer of the tape is UV resistant for two years which makes this tape suitable for both indoor and outdoor applications.

VASTR® Total tape can be used as a universal tape to provide an airtight finish to the building envelope. Thereby, the VASTR® Total tape adheres to many common substrates. Masking overlaps in membranes (non-woven or PE), repairing tears, masking of board material or insulation are all among applications to make a construction airtight. VASTR® Total tape is universally applicable to all our membranes from Alkreflex®, Miofol®, Polytex® and TAFTEX®.
VASTR® Total tape must be applied to a dust and grease free, dry surface to ensure good adhesion. Before applying VASTR® Total tape, remove the release liner and apply the tape to the center of the seam / overlap. Press and rub the tape well to eliminate air bubbles and provide optimum permanent adhesion. For optimal adhesion, a primer should be used on absorbent substrates.
