MG Grip Mesh provides sufficient grip for birds and bats and prevents damage to membranes and insulation material on the cold side of roof and façade constructions.
MG Grip Mesh is installed directly beneath the (breather) battens and tile battens. It provides grip for bats and birds and prevents damage to membranes and insulation material.
MG Grip Mesh must be fixed to the roof with stainless steel staples or clamped under the (breather) battens.
A minimum clearance of 30 mm must be maintained above the MG Grip Mesh to create sufficient nesting space for bats and birds.
If it is not desirable to cover the entire roof area with MG Grip Mesh, you can also choose to install a strip of approximately 1 meter from the roof edge. The remaining area must then be protected with bird combs.
