The patented reinforcement in the Ultraflex provides extreme strength while still allowing elongation in all directions. Unlike commonly used rebar, the knitted stainless steel will not corrode which makes the life and ease of use of the VASTR® Ultraflex much higher than alternative lead substitutes on the market.

The VASTR® Ultraflex is extremely UV resistant and available in 3 colors to match a building’s aesthetic. The adhesive layer provides adhesion to most common substrates such as roof tiles, zinc or concrete. Because the VASTR® Ultraflex is self-vulcanizing, overlaps or perforations melt together to form a single unit so that water-repellent performance is guaranteed.

Processing
Because VASTR® Ultraflex is fully self-adhesive, lightweight and stretchable in all directions, it is effortless to process. Despite having a stainless steel expanded metal, the Ultraflex can easily be cut to the correct size with the MG scissors PRO.
