Miofol® 200A1G is a breathable membrane for use in facades developed with Photonwrap-A1 from Thermic Technology. The woven structure of the fiberglass backing combined with the aluminium top layer makes the product extremely strong. The components of Miofol® 200A1G are non-combustible which gives this membrane a unique fire class A1.

The breathable membrane is used in facade constructions where fire class A1 is important. The membrane can be processed directly in contact with soft substrates. Moisture can escape from the structure through the membrane while rain and weather influences are blocked by the membrane. The aluminium surface is an excellent barrier against UV stress and provides increased insulation value due to its low emissivity.
Miofol® 200A1G should be used on the cold side of insulation in facade structures. Apply the membrane from the bottom to the top in horizontal strips of roof paneling. Fasten with stainless steel staples and preferably as much as possible in places where the membrane overlaps or under the ventilation stem. Apply VASTR® Butyl tape under the batten to ensure water-repellent properties. Tape off seams, overlaps and attachment points with VASTR® Aluminium tape. Any penetrations can be closed wind and watertight with Tyvek® FlexWrap tape.
