Breathable membrane

Breathable membranes are used on the outside of roof and wall structures. By using a Breathable membrane, you ensure that moisture that has entered the structure (in the open construction phase, for example) can breathe out. At the same time, the foil protects the structure from outside rain, snow and wind.

UV resistant membrane

UV resistant membranes are still waterproof even after prolonged exposure to UV. Therefore, this film is especially suitable for the exterior of open gable structures or non-closing tile roofs as is the case with Reclamed roof tiles. Especially for wooden façade structures, we also have several UV resistant membranes in the range with Fire class B.

Vapour control membrane

A vapor control membrane is used on the inside of roof and wall structures to ensure that the structure is protected from the effects of moisture. By ensuring that vapor from the inside cannot enter construction, you prevent wood rot and mold. The foil also prevents warm air from escaping through the structure, which provides direct energy savings. Vapor control membranes are used in rooms with climate class 2+3.

Variable vapor control membrane

A variable vapor control membrane is also called an intelligent vapor control membrane because the operation of the membrane is automatically adjusted according to the level of humidity in the structure. When the humidity is high in summer the membrane has a Breathable membrane to allow the structure to breathe inward. And in winter when vapor pressure builds up from inside, the Vapour control membrane is vapor retardant so that the structure is protected from the influences of moisture. A variable vapor control membrane is primarily used in situations where the outside of the structure is vapor tight such as flat roof construction.

Vapour barrier membrane

Vapor barrier membrane has an extremely high airtight barrier against vapor pressure because it has an aluminum layer. In extra humid areas with climate class 4 such as bathrooms, saunas and swimming pools, it is therefore necessary to use a vapor barrier membrane on the inside (warm side) of the construction.

Reflective membrane

Reflective films cause heat radiation to be reflected rather than absorbed. As a result, the foil provides a higher insulation value, especially when incorporated into the air cavity. Reflective films are also often incorporated into crawl spaces and behind radiators to prevent heat loss for the same reason.
