Applications

Tyvek® tape should be used to give Tyvek® membranes a wind- and waterproof seal in facade or roof constructions. Tyvek® tape should be used to repair damage, make overlap joints wind- and waterproof and to attach Tyvek® membranes to constructions. Tyvek® tape can be applied directly to wooden or metal surfaces.

Processing

Tyvek® tape must be applied on a dust-free, grease-free and dry surface in order to ensure effective bonding. To apply Tyvek® tape, remove the release layer and place the tape across the centre of the joint and overlap. Rub and apply firm pressure to the tape so air bubbles are avoided and effective bonding is realised.
