Tyvek® Facade Tape features a modified water-based acrylic adhesive and a siliconized paper release liner. Tyvek® Facade Tape has excellent resistance to time, water, moisture, the weather elements and chemicals. Tyvek® Facade Tape was developed specifically for the Tyvek® UV-Facade membrane.

Tyvek® Facade Tape should be applied for wind and watertight sealing of the UV-resistant membrane Tyvek® UV-Facade in facade or roof structures. Both the durable repair of damage, wind and watertight sealing of overlap seams, and the connection of Tyvek® UV-Facade to structures should be processed with Tyvek® Facade Tape. Tyvek® Facade Tape can be adhered directly to wood or steel substrates.
Tyvek® Facade Tape must be applied to a dust and grease free, dry surface to ensure proper adhesion. Before applying Tyvek® Facade Tape, remove the release liner and apply the tape to the center of the seam / overlap. Press and rub the tape well to eliminate air bubbles and provide optimum permanent adhesion.
